Top Earners In MLM. Study Them, It’s A Habit That You Won’t Regret.

Top earners in MLM know it, why don’t you? And if you do know it but are asking yourSelf; how the heck do I do that? Read on, because this is what I about to reveal in this article. This just might be one of the most important pieces of information you will run across. So make sure that you read on, what I have to tell you will change your life as a network marketing professional and just about any other profession your getting involved in.

Unfortunately so many people get involved in this profession and don’t have a clue where to begin. The reason being that they most likely enrolled under a person who doesn’t have a clue themselves.  And while  this is my personal opinion, and it seems to have gone viral and this is why the failure rate is so high within the profession.  So many people have the potential, the desire and determination to become the top earners in MLM. On the other hand what they don’t have, is the people,  support  or a training system to educate them with the right skills, strategies and mindset needed to succeed in this profession.

Here’s another very important fact, most people come in to this business under somebody else, who’s job is to guide them. Unfortunately most of the time that person doesn’t have a clue themselves  of what to do next. The only thing that “So Called” sponsor is excited about is the fact that he or she finally signed somebody up.  So what happens?  The new recruit get very little or no results within the first 90 days and they just give up.

Now the new recruit starts to play the blame game. First they blame it first on the sponsor, then on the company and then on the profession or the  industry, all together. Now the whole industry suffers and it’s mainly because too much of this has  always  been going on within the MLM / Network Marketing and even in most of the Internet Marketing companies.

Now, here’s a question for you. When you were in the 5th grade, did you learn from a 6th grader? Or even better yet, did you learn from high school students? No, you learned from a well paid professional who was well educated in a particular skill. Right? Then why would you want to learn from a sponsor who most likely is in the same grade level as you?

We all have to learn, so why not learn from the best? And who better to learn from but the Top Earners In MLM or any profession, for that matter.

One of the greatest philosophies that top earners in MLM love to live by is one that  was popularized by the great, late Zig Ziglar;

“You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want,”

Most people are scared or intimidated by the earners in MLM. the truth is that they want to help you succeed. Not only do they want you to succeed they want to be a major part of it. Because they know that it only comes back to them.

This is one of the traits that you should embrace, why? Because that’s what they do, all of them. Success leaves clues, and earners in MLM just love to leave bread crumbs so that many can follow. They don’t make it difficult, as a matter of fact they go out of their way to show you what they do. Let’s not forget this is Network Marketing, it’s not something that we do alone, we are all to help one another, no matter if one of the top earners in MLM, or somebody just walking in the door. Because the one thing the top earners in MLM don’t forget, is that day that they enrolled into their first company and that long challenging climb to the top.  And here’s the best part.

Stress The Greatest Enemy of the Creative Process.

Creative thinking and stress. Nowadays, stress seems to be on the rise and everybody is doing it. It almost seems like a new dance phase, a trend that all have accepted. But don’t forget, stress is pressure, worry, doubt and anxiety. Today stress has become a necessary part of the world we live in. In these days of modern technology; cell phones, computers, emails, text messages and the world moving, changing and growing in such a fast rate, we just can’t seem to keep up with it all. But the question is; do we have to? I thought that “I” did, but the truth is; I didn’t have to. And here is some good news; neither do you.

Creative thinking and stress just don’t work well together; actually they don’t work together at all. It is much more important today to learn how to manage stress, than it ever has been in the past. Stress is doubt, fear and worry. Creative thinking requires faith, confidence and courage.

• Faith in the process of creative thinking.
• The confidence in yourself and the concept.
•  Courage to continue with the faith and confidence when circumstances / diversity arise and the naysayers say that you are out of your mind. “That’s if it hasn’t happened yet.”

An Eye for an Eye.

We get pushed around by the stresses and pressures of life. So what do we do, or think we have to do? We push right back. We fight it, by trying harder, giving more of ourselves and even demanding more of others to help us push back.  It’s the only way most people know how to react. And why wouldn’t they, when society tells them; well I guess you just have to try harder. So that’s exactly what they do. Not knowing that there is an easier way. This way, is something that we all possess. It is a gift given to us all by our creator. Many have mastered it. Yet so many more don’t even know that it exist. It is the art of Creative Thinking. Creative thinking doesn’t know stress or the pressures of life because its capacity is unlimited.

The thing is that we ignore this automatic creative power and tend to do everything else to sabotage it by “trying” to do everything possible to solve all our problems by conscious thought and will power. It is the responsibility of the mind to pose problems, identify them but it was never made to solve them.

The problem is that you compound stress by “trying “to fix it all. However when you learn to trust your internal  creative process you relieve stress by learning how to assign problems to your creative thinking mechanism, then letting go of them. Haven’t you ever heard of the term? “Let go and let God.”   You identify the problem, acknowledge it and just hand it over. But in order to do that, you need faith. Now I’m not saying that you to believe in a God of some kind or become religious, the choices that you make with that are yours and have nothing to do with this. However, you must believe in the process of creative thinking. And even if you do have the slightest doubt, that’s fine. As you apply your faith will grow as the truth of creative thinking reveals itself as it did with me.

Determine that the thing can and shall be done and then a way shall be found. (Abraham Lincoln)

Creative Thinking, The Better and Easier way!

“When once a decision is reached and execution is the order of the day, dismiss absolutely all responsibility and care about the outcome. Unclamp, in a word, your intellectual and practical machinery, and let it run free; and the service it will do you will be twice as good.”(William James)

What I am talking about is a practical method beginning with conscious rational thought. Combining the imagination and Self image, generating an amazingly powerful internal search engine, that will do wonders actualizing the solution towards any problem, entirely free of stress.

Creative Thinking may just sound like some kind of fantasy land way of thinking, but the truth is that is real and can be seen the experiences and writings of some of the world’s greatest minds. They tell us that creative thinking is not consciously thought out by conscious thinking, but it comes out spontaneously, automatic and just out of the blue, when the conscious mind stopped completely focusing on and has let go of the problem and is now thinking of something else.

Don’t get me wrong some effort, though and intention has to be behind this because creative thinking and ideas do have to come from somewhere for securing some kind of answer. May it be an inspiration or a gut feeling the plant needed to be seeded at one time or another, you must be thinking about it consciously, getting all of the information on the particular subject, and consider everything that you can  about it. And above all you need to have a definiteness of purpose or a burning desire to solve the problem. But once it is all set deep within your soul and imagination you don’t need to dig any further with worry, fears and struggle. And this is where you start to practice the art of allowing.  Allow the answers to just come to you, as they will.

Thomas Edison, Charles Darwin, W Clement Stone and Ralph Waldo Emerson are just a few of many that have been able to gain strength through surrender. They mastered the art of allowing their creative thinking to come up with many solutions that have enhanced the world we live in today and the best part of it all is; So Can You!

Starting Over, there is nothing wrong with new beginnings.

Starting Over, there is nothing wrong with new beginnings.

It’s very simple.

Starting Over. Keep on doing what you’re doing and you will keep on getting what you’re getting. Nothing changes, if nothing changes. And quite honestly; my business hasn’t seen any growth. Actually, it’s going to wrong way.  So this is why I have decided to take a good look at what’s going on. I’ve invested too much time and effort. Plus most importantly, I’m not going to let go of my dream. Unless I want to keep getting up at 3 am to go to work to make somebody else rich. I don’t think so! This is why I’m Starting Over.

It hasn’t gotten any better.

This is another reason for starting over. Because of the fact that my business has not grown I’ve been forced to go back to work. And let me tell you something; it still sucks out there. The traffic is still bumper to bumper, gas prices are still high, bosses are still miserable and the future is still very depressing. So starting over seems like a very good alternative. So I’m going to do the same thing. You see, I am not new to this starting over

stuff. So I know that starting over works. I’ve done it with something a little more challenging than a business; I did it with my life. There was a point in my life that things my life needed a major adjustment, everything around me was falling apart. And it had everything to do with how I was running it, the decisions that I was making and the people that I surrounded myself with all of which had to be changed. Starting over was my best option and it was the best thing that I could have done.

Just Like before.

I can remember sitting in my room in the middle of the night overwhelmed with fear, doubt and total chaos within myself. Looking at my life at the time, watching it all fall apart as it was getting worse day by day. I remember thinking to mySelf; something has to change. And at that very same moment the answer came to me; that something was me. Starting over at this point was the best thing that I could do, not only for me but for my whole family, as they were being affected also.

At that point I ran to the resources that were always there, but I never used them. Now it was time to take some positive action and fix what was wrong, me.

Well that’s exactly what I’m going to do, I will utilize the resources, friends, connections and mentors that I have been able to make in this industry and take some positive action within my business. This will make starting over much easier.

What has worked.

First thing I do know that I have to focus on is what has worked and that was writing. I wrote an article almost every day. I stopped because of my own self doubt, fears and insecurities. I honestly didn’t think that I was a good writer.  But either good or bad, I know that I will never excel in writing if I just stop all together.  Doing something wrong, but consistently working on improvement is much better than not doing anything at all.

Next were the relationships I developed through my blog. I built some very good empowering relationships with many of my readers people just like you. So I will start writing again. Providing value and building more relationships with my friends. So this also makes starting over very easy and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

So I have plenty to do.

And I will keep you all informed. Starting over is much better than giving up as we see so many people do, time and time again. Everything that I do will be shared with you. So you have a perfect opportunity to learn and grow with me all you have to do is come by from time to time, sign up to my RSS and I’ll do the rest.

Putting Pencil To Paper, It’s Amazing What Can Be Done With A Number 2 Pencil And A Dream.

Every book published is made from draft. Every magnificent corporate logo design is made from scratch. And just about meaningful everything that I have accomplished, I wrote down on a piece of paper long before it was achieved. This is one concept that I know works because the proof is all in my journals.

One way or another, our minds tell us what to write and through going to the basic medium of pencil to paper, gathering of ideas lead us to a definite plan. In our younger years and first years of school, we learned from writing pencil to paper. With whatever strokes we feel doing, we create things that can mean nothing but they are signs of development.

Indeed, the 21^st century has produced a massive output of machines, devices and even toys that turned mankind’s accustomed routines from complicated to convenient. Without a doubt, technology has proven its efficiency to not only levitating the ways of life but also helping the rational minds into producing tangible materials.

All individuals, given with different professions in life, benefit from technology. Unfortunately, through time and time, as one of the disadvantages of technology, depending on digital devices too much makes us lazy to go back to the basic yet effective tool of deriving decisions, plans, or what inquiry we may have through taking it down from pencil to paper.

You see, every decision comes from gathering ideas. When it comes to such, details are broken down into pieces. Like a puzzle, we combine every piece back to its place by first scattering these pieces. It doesn’t always start off smoothly. Just like any other activities we encounter, there are no definite procedures. Some may have but every beginning is subject to confusion. This leads us to the effective and simple means of applying pencil to paper to organize our thoughts and coming up with concrete ideas.

For instance, an inspiring entrepreneur always draws his dream commercial store through pencil to paper. Just like how creative writer’s freefall into their notebooks, we write words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs from putting pencil to paper. From there, we come around with a certain thought or concept that we subconsciously think about.

Let us go deeper in discussing the effectiveness of the application of putting pencil to paper through categorizing it in a particular industry. Behind all available devices, apps, software programs and whatnot, pencil to paper remains to be the least expensive method that provides a hundred percent success rate.

This is proven by online entrepreneurs as putting pencil to paper as a tangible activity of listing down everything an online entrepreneur or any individual should not miss. In the detail of running a home based business such as online marketing, you cannot simply doodle, mark, highlight, underline or delete a phrase that you just have written in your notebook or any writing gadget. Pencil to paper is still the preferred meeting must have. This only creates a strong vote over inconveniences that technology actually brings.

An entrepreneur who travels a lot just have to carry with him a pen and paper and rest assured communication will be sought after with keenness to details. Having a clearer sign of things on mind through putting ideas through pencil to paper will bring good to an entrepreneur’s busy and hectic lifestyle.  Thus, when in doubt, put pencil to paper in creating a more established and clear illustration of where you and your business will go further. Without any Internet connection interruption or poor power performance, anybody can go miles with just a number two pencil and a dream.

Identifying Your Target Market, First Things First.

Identifying your target market is just as important to your home based business as having a list of family members and friends that you would like to invite to your wedding. You won’t just open the doors and let everybody in. Just think about it. It won’t be a wedding reception, it’ll be Mardi gras.

Even though it might sound like fun, the truth is that your wedding will just be flooded with a bunch of people that don’t mean anything to you and your spouse. You’ll just have a bunch of wacky people running wild that are on no value to you.

Yet this is something that most home business owners do. They just open the floodgates and let everybody in, hoping that somebody will see what they have to offer. They never put much or any thought into identifying who it is that want to attract, convert into a worm market contact and ultimately recruit into their business.  So be absolutely sure to read this post on identifying your target market all the way through as this will be one of the Most Valuable pieces of content you will read for your business.

Speaking from experience…

First of all I have to give credit to two friends and mentors, who help me realize my errors and showed exactly how to fix my errors of the past.  Thank You Diane Hochman and Ray Higdon, for your fine example of leadership, and your great training and mentorship that has helped me achieve my goals.

You see I was one of those people who would just throw out a net, and scoop up anything that I could catch, for the longest time I would place ads anywhere that it could be seen and pray for the best. But here was the problem. Anytime that I would luck out and catch my little fish in that big ocean that we call the internet, most would just fall right through the holes of my net. Because that’s exactly what they were “Little Fish” and if they didn’t fall through I would still have to throw them back.

In other words they were of no value, 99% of the time they were what we call; tire kickers. They were just looking around. They were not serious prospects at all. All in all it was just a waste of time and effort.

I’ll never forget the day that my mentor Diane Hochman literally laughed at me in the middle of a training call, she asked me; Joe do you really get any leads from posting 3 or 4 times a week on 25 different groups in facebook? My answer to that question was; NO! And if I did get a lead it was just like I mentioned earlier, a suspect not a prospect. I did this for years. What a waste and this is why I am sharing this with you so that YOU don’t make the same mistake.

This is why I started off with…

identifying your target market, first things first. Because identifying your target market is one of the first things that any business owner has to do. And if you don’t you are guaranteed to either struggle with your business, as I did or fail all together as many other home business owners and network marketers have.

What is Identifying your Target Market?

It’s where you gather up all of the information on your ideal prospect, figure out and identify exactly the kind of people that you know will be best suited for your home business. Once you’ve done that y

ou will have to create ways to attract them to you, by offering things of value such as information, training and resources that they can use.Identifying your target market and what attracts them will take some thought, maybe even some role playing as you will have to put yourself in your ideal prospects shoes.

Identifying:

• Age groups.
• Married, single or both.
• What kind of work they do.
• Where do they work, how long have they worked.
• What are they looking for, would they be interested in what you have to offer?
• Why is it that they are looking for alternative solutions?
• How can what you have to offer help them?
• What is their current economic situation?
• What is it that they want out of life and how can you, product or service help them achieve it?
• And very importantly, how can you connect with these prospects, how can you relate with them and they with you? Building trust and even friendships.

You also have to take a good look at yourSelf and the product or service that you offer as this also plays a major part of this whole picture. Remember you are part of this, if you’re a ballet dancer promoting tutus, Hulk Hogan and the World Wide Wrestling would not be a good target market. The conversation is not going to go very far.

You want to have things in common, you don’t need to be a mind reader but you should be able to relate with, understand and have a good conversation therefore building rapport with your prospect.  The bottom line is that you know you. I am absolutely sure that if you think about long enough there is a very large ideal target market that you know everything about.

This is the third part of my five-part series on The Laws of Stratospheric Success of the inspirational book, Go Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann. The Go Givers third law is The Law of Influence in which it states, “Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first”.

Let’s have a quick review of the first two laws; The Law of Value tells us to give more in value than what we accept in payment and yet still prosper. This is in understanding with the difference between price and value. Price is the financial value while value is the high regarded worth to the consumer. The second law, The Law of Compensation imparts that the more people we provide exceptional value to, the more monetary reward we receive. In the third law, The Law of Influence, it actually shows us how to be practical; to give and serve abundantly and put other people’s interests above our own. It is in this act you will see that people will do business to someone they know, like and actually trust. There is no faster, effective and powerful way to do this but by finding ways to place other person’s interests first. That is what the Law of Influence is trying to teach us, to build a relationship based on respect, commitment, loyalty and trust. To earn influence, show value to receive the warranted respect, trust and loyalty. Nevertheless, remember to do this out of free will, with a committed passion, for it would mean losing a part of ourselves. See to it that our own self-value is realized at the same time we are serving others.

The Law of Influence shows us how to be a giver. Being a giver doesn’t mean giving out everything for free. A giver comprehends that it is not common for someone to give without expecting anything in return. It is a natural human reaction and perception that to give is to receive something back. However, the Law of Influence wants us to practice giving and providing more value than what we expect to receive. A “true” giver wants to learn what an individual truly needs and finds ways to fulfill that need to the best of his ability. It could come in the form of listening or offering advice and solutions to particular problems, uplifting rather than criticizing.

We all give and take though some of us are out of balance. A few people give too much but resent it because they lack the passion to do so. A few people take most of the time and yet do not quite understand the reason why they are still not getting ahead. The remaining others learn to live in balance. The important thing is to determine if you want to be a giver or a taker. It is up to you to put that balance in your life. The Law of Influence in the beginning may show you that in establishing a relationship, you may end up giving a lot more than actually receiving but this is only temporary. As you infuse commitment into giving others needs, you may not immediately see the results of your growing influence, but it’s there, right where you planted it. Be patient, stand firm in being a giver, and help build the success of others and see the rewards return to you in a thousand fold.

The Go Givers book has distinct important ideas, but the point of the Law of Influence is to run your business with a servant’s will and heart.  To go out of your way to ensure the success of everyone you know or may not know yet; to spread out information and be engaged to everyone else’s activities. If you can structure your business so that you can give as much as possible to affiliates and investors or to work on how not to keep most money or opportunity for yourSelf rather give more regard to the people who might need it most.
