Is Keyword Research Important?

No it’s not! If you’re an auto mechanic, Doctor or a truck driver. However if you own a website, blog or write articles I’d say It’s as important as air is to the living. But when it comes to your online home business success, I would say that anybody that has anything to do with Internet marketing should, no hold on; let me reword that. “Better” learn everything that you can about keyword research and the importance of it and how it applies to your business. Put simply Keyword Research is simply one of the most crucial parts of your MLM or Online home Business success.

Keyword Research Basics.

I’m going to simplify and keep this as basic as possible. And I suggest that you do the same.  I say this because so many people get stuck in the ole, paralysis by analysis syndrome. So just keep it as basic as possible at first. Use what you learn right way and don’t allow yourSelf to get caught up or your online home business to be left behind by all of the technical knowhow that you really don’t need to know. Don’t over complicate it, keep it simple and this will bring online home business success.

In A Nutshell.

Keywords are like magnets, they attract the search engine spiders as well as they attract your visitors. They are a very important part of your on and off page optimization.

On page optimization: is when specific keywords are place strategically throughout your webpage be it in an article website or blog. This way they are notice by the reader and the search engines.

Off Page optimization: Is when the keywords are used strategically  throughout your ads, capture pages and even page within your very own sites or other sites that link back to the site that you want your customers or prospects to visit. Again, noticed by the readers and the search engines.

Internet Marketing, your Online Home Business or MLM.

Let’s make it very clear here, you want to market your Online Home Business or MLM using the World Wide Web / Internet. However, you just cannot just throw together a website and expect customers, prospects or recruits to fill up your email inbox with orders and sales overnight, you will have to learn certain strategies to make this possible. Even though I am very sure that that’s what you expected. Well, Surprise!  It’s just not that easy.

The Internet runs on “search” and that search is activated by words. Many, many  keywords. Just think about it; those first three letters that you use before actually putting in an address in the address bar  you first type in www. That’s a keyword – World Wide Web, which is followed by even more keywords. Or you want to Google something. First you put in the keyword; Google, then you put in the keywords that describe what you want Googled into Google. Then what do you get? A page full of words.

Keyword research is just one.

Just like a builder is not just a carpenter. However a builder can be a master carpenter, plumber or painter, but does not need to be a master of all of the trades, he just needs to know how they work.

The exact same goes for being a successful online home business entrepreneur, you want to know keyword research, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), blogging or website design, article and content creation, copy writing and many other skills that you will want to know about but not master. However it is recommended that you do master at least one.

A friend of mine put it very clearly.

It all depends on who you ask. I’m not kidding. You can ask one person who joined one of these network marketing, multilevel marketing or direct sales opportunities, learned everything that they needed to learn, grabbed the bull by the horns, took massive action and ran with it. Creating a very successful and lucrative business that pays them a steady six figure and even a multiple six figure annually income and they’ll tell you:

I wouldn’t do it any other way, this business it the greatest kind of opportunity anybody can find. Where else can an average person with very little money to invest become financially free?

Then you go to the next person, joined a couple of different a couple of different network marketing, multi level marketing and direct sales opportunities but jumped from one to another looking to get rich quick and put in little or no effort towards the business and they’ll tell you:

• Make your first Blog Post: Write down 5 things that you learned today and post them on your blog.
• Make a Video: Post that on your blog.
• When you learn something new: Post everything you learn on your blog.
• When you do something fun: Post it on your blog. Have fun with it, other people will be attracted to that.
• Pictures: Take pictures and post them with a description of what was going on.
• Solutions: find common problems in your particular industry, come up with a solution, then put that in your blog post.
• Learn (SEO) search Engine Optimization: To promote your blog and get it optimized for good page ranking.
• Consistency: The key to successful Online Blogging. Provide fresh, relevant, solid content daily.

It’s a shame, but that’s the hook. Most everybody is looking to become an overnight success. They want to get rich, but don’t want to put in the work. But the only place where rich comes before work is in the dictionary.

The truth is that it just doesn’t work that way, in anything. Not just in an online home business. You also need to work for good Health, you need to work to have good and lasting relationships and you need to work to create financial freedom. And the harder you work and the more that you put into you efforts the greater the rewards. There is no overnight success, get rich quick or wealth without work and even risk.

Even most of the people who get lucky and win the lottery, end up in more debt than when they were broke. Because the whole experience turned out to be more of a shock, than anything else and they don’t have a clue of what to do with so much money in the first place.  And I’m sure that as your reading this, you’re probably saying to yourself; not me, I won’t end up broke or in debt if I win the lottery. But it’s just not that easy if you didn’t earn the first dollar and work your way up to the millionth.

However, this is not a debate to see what you would or wouldn’t do if you win millions of dollars. What I am trying to relate in the message is that success can be achieved, but it’s not going to happen overnight and it’s not going to happen without working consistently towards achieving your goals.

It can be done.

Not only can it be done, it’s being done all over the world and here’s the best part. It can be done by you. How do I know this? I’m doing it, yes me. I’m a 9^th grade drop out. An ex-New York City union construction worker and I started doing this at the ripe age of 45.

How? I worked; I worked very hard at finding the right people ant the right strategies and developed good and empowering disciplines. So if I can do it, so can you. And to tell you the truth, the way I did it, is as close to overnight as you’re going to get.

You see when I first started looking into this internet marketing stuff, I didn’t have a clue. I didn’t know anything. MLM / multi level marketing, network marketing, direct sales, affiliate marketing, social marketing, keyword research, SEO / search engine optimization and all of those other terms were all foreign to me and that was just a small list of terms that I know nothing about.

When I first started; I was one of those guys that got hooked, by the get rich quick solution. Oh yeah, I remember it, just like it was yesterday, the fancy car in front of the  big house and the guy in the video telling me that I was going to be rich in 30 days.

I can still feel that hook, I told my wife and kids; we have arrived! And in 30 days I went back to work at my regular J.O.B. and I was not happy. But this time I couldn’t wait to get laid off, because I had a plan and one of my goals ware to never collect unemployment again. And I haven’t, today my home based business is growing every day along with my knowledge and wisdom of internet marketing. But there is one very important thing that I do want to share with you; it does seem like only yesterday.

Do I consider mySelf an overnight success? Well I’m 50 yrs old right now. Most of my friends back at the J.O.B. are still taking that 2 hour commute into the city to make somebody else rich, they envy me from on top of their ladders. I go on vacations all of the time now and don’t have to answer too or ask the boss for permission, because I am the boss. I’m home with my wife and grandchildren all of the time. And that’s just a few of the benefits. I would say; YES! Because I did find a quicker, easier and better way.

 Network Marketing Multilevel Marketing Internet Marketing Online Home Business Success and Faith, What a Combination for Success

Looking back.

In one of my prior article post titled; “Online business and network marketing success, don’t jump.”  The key message being; don’t jump! I started to put some more thought behind what I wrote. And that thought came about as I was delivering a message of faith to an audience of listeners at a local hall. I love to share that not too long ago I had absolutely no faith. Oh no, let me reword that. The only faith that I had was in something that I can see it right in front of my face. So if you honestly couldn’t show it to me, it’s just could not be. Make sense?

Then a series of events took place and I decided to, no again let me reword that. I was forced by circumstance to place a little faith into some other people.  People that I did not know, total strangers. But they had something that I wanted and I was willing to do anything to get it.

Now before I go any further, please don’t misunderstand my message before I finish here. I don’t want you to think that, I’m trying to push anybody into religion nor am I trying to push them away. My message here is of faith not religion.

Now back to mySelf and the people that I had to put my faith into. They told me to pray or their exact words were; put it out there kid. And even though I was full of doubt, I did. They told me to believe in things and to have faith that as long as I was doing the right thing, followed with positive thought and action. Everything would fall in place and things will get better. Again with a mountain of doubt and a grain of faith, I did what they suggested for me to do.

And guess what happened? Things started to get better, miraculous events started to happen and to my amazement eventually my life that was falling apart all came together and today all of those challenges are gone. However today I have new ones and that’s okay because I have one thing today that I didn’t have way back then, and that is faith.  I call it crazy faith, because most of the people that don’t believe as I do think that I’m nutz and that’s most people.

Leap and the net will appear.

Now back to the article that I wrote; Don’t jump. I want you to know that I do jump, or leap when it comes to faith. I am a leaper. I do believe in blind faith. Remember it says “Leap” and the net will appear. Not, go to the ledge then look down to see if it’s safe and then leap. It says “Leap.”

So what does faith have to do with your online home business and network marketing? Everything, I don’t care if you own a tire shop, or walk dogs for a living. Faith is something that we all need in all the different phases of our life. But in business, I feel that it is very important especially as an entrepreneur. You see I looked up the definition of entrepreneur, it says; a person who starts a business knowing that there is some risk involved. In other words and entrepreneur is a leaper. And as a leaper you need that faith because it’s that faith that weaves that net together before and after we leaped. Faith is instrumental to an entrepreneur’s success.

A BIG why.

It’s not easy, everything can just go against you. And most of the time it does, in the network marketing, multi level marketing and online home based business field especially. And here are a few key points why.

• The learning curve. Even the pros need to learn so when you’re new to it, it’s even more of a challenge. Most of the time when we’re learning we’re not making any money.
• The nay-sayers. These are the people with no faith and if they do have faith it’s in the traditional 9 to 5 J.O.B. And most of the time the people closest to us, parents, wife, friends and co-workers.
• The pressures of life. You know it works, but everything is going against you, every penny you earn goes back into the business. The bills come up, the spouse is complaining, your mother is telling you that you had such a good job at the supermarket. And doubt starts to settle in, you start to wonder; does all of this stuff really work? And there goes your faith, your business and all of the time and money that you invested. Why? No Faith!

Winners are people of great faith.

You have to keep your head up when things are down. The hard times are just part of it. Yes it’s easier for some then others but the one thing that they all have in common is that they never quit and they never quit because they had absolute faith in what they were doing. So do as the winners do, it’s not about thinking that it can be done, it’s about knowing. Be strong, have faith and you to, will become a winner.

 Online Home Business and Network Marketing Success – 4 Key habits.

Read, Listen, Learn and Attend.

When people first begin their new network marketing, multi level marketing, internet marketing or online home business the first thing on their mind is making money. And unfortunately this is exactly what attracted then into these types of businesses. They see a top earning leader from their company earning 6 and 7 figure incomes and the first thing that enters their mind is; wow how do I earn that kind of money? Then they go into the company website back office, of through the training guides in their quick start guides and go right to work. Then 6 months down the line they see that they haven’t recruited a single prospect.

The reason being is that the only thing that they heard when that top earning leader gave his or her speech was that they now earn a 6 or 7 figure income. What they didn’t hear or it might not have been mentioned at all.  Was what that leader did personally to get up to that level of success in their business and life.

So that’s exactly what this article is about. Now, I can’t give it all to you today, as I am sure that you would need a library of information to educate you with proper skills, habits, disciplines, strategies and tactics put into practice by such top earning leaders. However this is why this first key is so crucial to your success and that’s why the first key is to read.

1)    Leaders are readers.

And readers do become leaders. It’s just that simple; there is absolutely no better way to master your profession than read about it 30 minutes a day. Especially in today’s technological world and the introduction of the internet we must read in order to keep up with the fast moving and changing times. When you read what leaders read and write themselves you are following and duplicating their success.

2)    Listen.

Fill your mind with educational, positive and empowering audio. Daily audio training is absolutely transformative. The thing is that most people don’t believe that they have the time to listen to audio training because of the busy lives that they lead. Nevertheless if you are creative enough you will find plenty of time. While driving, jogging, walking or doing basic chores around the house. Put your mind to it and you will find the time.

3)    Write.

Write about what you just read about. Write about what you just learned. It’s the best way to anchor something into your mind. Get creative write about everything. When you write about everything you will also learn about everything.

4)    Attend.

Be active in and attend as many business events as possible. This is where it all comes together. The personal interaction with leaders and teachers will empower you to move into the next level of your personal and business success. There is something that solidifies in your mind what is happening and you begin to understand things like never before. Just remember that leaders and guest speakers all were in the audience at one time or another, just like you. So attending business events on a regular basis is exceptionally instrumental to your entrepreneurial success.

Now as I mentioned earlier the information delivered to you is just the tip of the iceberg of information that can and should be obtained by you. However these are monumental steps in the right direction.

So consistently implement these 4 key habits into your daily business routine and before you know it, (Most probably sooner than later) you will be the one up on that stage sharing your story of success and how you now earn a 7 figure income.

Just Google the name: David Wood. Or better yet go on facebook and visit some MLM, Multi level Marketing, Network Marketing, Internet Marketing, Marketing Success or Money Making pages, groups or  events and I’m sure that you will see the name David Woods pop up again and again. Here’s a guy who was homeless and living in his van at one time and is now considered an Internet marketing genius.

I was just at an event in Florida, the weekend before his product was launched. David Woods was one of the top speakers at this event, where he won close to $35,000 and a new car for being one of the top earners for the company hosting the event. Then at the end of his speech “If that’s what you want to call it.”  Dave stood in front of the audience and asked; is there anybody in this audience that I have helped personally and is now making more money because of my products and personal coaching? Before you could blink, there was a massive crowd of people on stage giving personal testimonials for Dave and his marketing systems. You want to talk about attraction marketing? I’m sure everybody in that room was attracted to Dave Wood, including yours truly. Honestly, I’ve heard about him and have seen him all over the place. But I never thought that this guy was the leader that he is. This guy blew me away. Not only was he smart and knew his stuff he was also a lot of fun. And when I approached him, introduced mySelf to him and his lovely wife, they both talked to and made me feel like I was an old friend. That was incredible.

David Sharpe.

The first time I met Dave; he was hosting a training call. I never heard of him, but he impressed me with what he was teaching and how he taught it. This guy was good. He was so good that as soon as I implemented the strategies that he taught. I received immediate results. However, I had some questions. I contacted him, and Dave was more than happy to answer them and even give me a few more pointers on top. And that was it. Until, I went to the event in Florida.

Now I start hearing his name mentioned a few times by different people. So I think to myself; great, now I can meet this guy that helped me face to face, and I did. He showed up on Sunday, which was actually my birthday. And when we met he looked tired, kind of run down and honestly so was I. But when we talked, he was happy to meet me and then he asked me; Joe, were having a private meeting up in our room,  were introducing a new product, would you like to be part of this? I foolishly relied; no I can’t It’s my birthday and I have to spend some time in Disney with my wife. “Please don’t tell my wife this, but that was a very big mistake.” Why? Because I was invited to a private, pre launch of what I believe to be; one of the greatest money making systems to hit the internet. That’s right, Empower Network. (I should have left her home, just kidding.)

My wife and I have never been to Disney and that was our first time. And I don’t care what anybody says but my family comes first. Plus my wife and I had a super time, as we always do together.

Here’s the thing; I’m not here to promote these guys or the Empower Network, if you look online you will see that they are doing a fine job of that themselves. Honestly I’m just sharing with you some crazy things that I went through and a couple of lessons that I learned. And if you didn’t pick up on them here they are.

• Keep an open mind, and if you see somebody’s face and name all over the internet. You should take a look, see and learn what this person is doing, because he / she must be doing something right and just might have something good to offer.
• When somebody has already given you something of value and then they offer you something else. You should really take a good look at it, because this person has already proved him / herself as a reputable source of information.
• Last but not least, make sure that when you are going to a business event, you dedicate 100% to that event, because you might be walking away from an opportunity of a life time.

So there it is a great weekend meeting great people and being exposed to wonderful products. This is the result of a person (me) who is in to win.

As I am a firm believer that; you have to be in it, to win it. And I’m in!

Online Home Business Events. 8 Reasons Why You Should Go.

Bunch of us Just having Fun...

No, I can’t afford that.

That was the first thing that came to mind, the first time my primary business informed me of an event that they were having. Wow, was I ever wrong! I had it backwards. I couldn’t afford not to go.

One of the best investments you can make.

Remember, that you have a business you have to treat it as such. Not Like a hobby. And when you look at it this way, you have to remember that when you start and operate any business you will have to make investments. If you’re not willing to make certain investment and sacrifices towards your business is suggest that you stick to your J.O.B.

It doesn’t matter if you’re business is in network marketing, multilevel marketing or internet marketing they all have company events and I strongly suggest that you attend as many of them as possible.

My personal experience.

Okay now, so finally after hearing over and over again and a friend of mine telling me that he’d better see me at the event. I made the decision to go, and another reason why I went was because it was close to home, just a few hours away by car, and I do love driving my car. So, what the heck? If I don’t like it, I’ll just get in my car and leave.

However that was not the case, because I loved it, the speakers, the atmosphere and the camaraderie that comes with attending such an event is absolutely invigorating.

Then I attended one hosted by my primary internet marketing community Carbon Copy Pro and Jay Kubassek. All I can say is “Oh My God” now I’m sitting side by side having breakfast, lunch and dinner with Jay and the income earners from my company and were talking fun, family and business just as if we were friends for ever. I just couldn’t believe it, these are people that I just see in blogs and hear in webinars but never did I think that I could be sitting by a pool in a 5 star Arizona resort.

Now here’s another event. The My Lead System Pro Live the Dream II event in Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. I’ve never been to Disney, or Florida, and neither has my wife. So guess what? That’s right now we have. So not only did we get to do something we’ve always wanted to do. And while my wife was out playing with Minnie and Mickey. I was getting some of the finest training that anybody can get. I was rubbing elbows with the owners and founders of MLSP, Norbert Orlewicz and Brian Fanale. Not to mention, Jairek  Robbins (Son Of Tony Robbins) Top producing internet and network marketing pro’s like Todd Falcone, Mark Hoverson, Tim Erway, Ray Higdon, David Woods, Deagan Smith, Rob Fore, Tracey Walker, and Diane Hochman. These are the people that are the top earners in their primary company, be it internet marketing, network marketing or multilevel marketing. These are the people that I always wanted to meet but didn’t know how. Well this is it! Attend your company events.

8 reasons why you should attend events.

1. Stick with the winners. You are surrounded by your company’s top earners.
2. Get exposed; let the people that you wanted to know get to know you.
3. Get connected with other like minded people and make new friends.
4. Receive to most current and up to date information, marketing strategies and business tactics.
5. Not only do you see who’s on top, but you also get to know who’s moving up. This way you know exactly who to connect with.
6. Discounts on training, info products and future events.
7. Build your reputation as a leader by taking pictures with these leaders and if you’re really ambitious ask these leaders to give you a video interview that you can use on your blog, website or even as a product or free offer.
8. Fun, these events are not all business. They are fun, exciting and empowering. When you get back home from these events you are ready for action.

The Bottom line…

Is that I was wrong. I can’t afford not to attend these events.  And Even though business events do cost money, between airfare, hotel fees and food they do add up. However as entrepreneurs we have to consider this as a necessary business expense. With the proper planning and budgeting attending business events can and will becomes not only one of the best investments you can make towards your business, it will also be one of the most rewarding. I can honestly say this because I know this from my own experience.  Now my biggest challenge is, not over doing it because just like anything else we need balance in everything that we do. And I can see myself going to more events and getting less work done. I have come to love these events, and I am absolutely sure so will you.

Work Harder on Yourself than Your do on Your Business.

Jim Rohn-It’s Possible- Work Harder On Yourself Than You Do On Your Job. 

First things first, this is something that I love to make perfectly clear. Just as I do in my videos and in all of my other articles. Everything I share with my readers comes from my life experiences and most importantly my message’s come from my heart. Especially this topic, so please stick around because what I have to offer you today is real near and dear to me, as I am absolutely sure that this will also  benefit you as it has me.

Now when most people hear the quote “Work Harder On Yourself than You Do On Your Business.” They think of the Great Jim Rohn. And yes, I do listen to Jim Rohn regularly and I have heard that very same quote many times, as a matter of a fact, Jim’s exact quote is; Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.

Nevertheless, when I first heard it, the person I heard it from was not Jim Rohn, it was my friend and mentor Reiki Pete. And the words were completely different, but the message was the same. Pete’s words to me were Joseph, Joseph, Joseph Keep the focus on “Yourself” and watch how everything else gets better. My first thought was; This Guy Is NUTZ!

My life at this time was a catastrophe, my wife wasn’t well, plus she wanted NOTHING to do with me, I had some very disturbing legal issues going on, I was unemployed and I was about to lose my house and my poor kids were in the middle of this big mess. How the heck was keeping the focus on myself, going to make things better?

Now here’s the miracle.

Out of desperation, a little hope and an inkling of faith, I decided to keep an open mind and do what was suggested. I was told to take an honest look at myself, and clean house. Start righting my wrongs. Get rid of all of my resentments and handle my challenges with love, tolerance and understanding.

Another very powerful quote came from another mentor and friend. This guy is a retired older gentleman, (Richie, B) who decided to open up a painting business at the age of 65. On the side of this work truck, he didn’t have business lettering, all it said was; Change Your thinking and Chance your world.  Rich always keep a stack of James Allens Book, As A Man Thinketh, in his vehicles. He’s been handing them out for over 20 years. And of course I read it, again and again and again. So I did change my thinking and my world changed for the better.

The Big Pay Off,

You see, I was able to get into one of the most rewarding relationship of my life. I got into a relationship with mySelf, yes me. I learned how to love myself first. And it’s funny because today, the more I work on myself the better things get, and I mean, everything!

My relationships, Health, finances, social standing in my community and the communication with my higher power has all improved 100% because of me working on myself first before anything else including my online home based business.

So here it is. Is it easy? No! But then again, anything worth wild is never easy; however it gets easier with time. Is it worth it? Definitely!

Here’s the thing. It’s a life long journey; well at least I think it is. It also seems like it’s something that I tend to do all day every day. It tends to make life much easier and better, not only for me but everybody else that I come in contact with. So I’m not the only one that benefits from my actions.

Now as far as your concerned. I wouldn’t listen to me, who the heck am I? Listen to the greats, like Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins and Les Brown just to mention a few. To tell you the truth, I never heard of these guys until I started on this great journey. So if you’re looking for a place to begin. Look up those guys I just mentioned, read their books, listen to the audios and study, discover, love and most of all, have fun with you. You won’t call it work, you’ll call it, a pleasure.
