The Best Year for My Online Home Based Business. What an Extraordinary Year.

Wow what a year.

2011 was the year that I expected it to be for my online home based business and so will 2012. What was different then in the previous years? I will attribute one big key factor that has made 2011 such a wonderful year.

Attending live events.

That was it. Attending 3 events last year. You know I always thought that going to these events were all just a bunch of hype. That they were just a way for other people and companies to make more money from me. And you know what I found out? That I was 100% right. These people are looking to make a ton of money from me, you or us. But here’s the thing, they don’t make it from the events, they make it from us and our successes. So if we make money they make money, when we succeed they succeed, we look good and become leaders guess what in it for them.

Reflecting on the past year.

Number 1. It was the year that I was able to take off my tool belt and stop commuting into Manhattan every single day making a commitment to my online home based business. I joined my primary system / business Pro Elite and attended my first event in Baltimore, Maryland.  I personally met and connected with Jerry Clark, Jeffery Combs and Cedrick Harris.I started making videos today I have over 1000 videos in my files. I was shut down by Youtube or Google slapped. As you is now owned by Google. My wife Jessica and I enjoyed out grandchildren’s first birthdays, we were able to host my grandson’s birthday in our house and we had a wonderful summer, the best summer ever in our home of 13 years.

I attended my second event in Phoenix, Arizona.I met and personally connected with Jay kubassek, the whole Loyal 9 Revolution team, Aaron and Spohia Rashkin, Andrew Cass, Michael Force just to mention a few leaders from Pro Elite. I started to focus on planning and time management, blogging and article marketing. I joined Toast masters.

Attended my third event, with my wife this time in Orlando Florida, both my wife and I went to Disney and Universal studios for the first time, we liked it so much we purchased some property in Orlando.I met and personally connected with Norbert Orlewicz, Brian Fanale, Todd Schlomer, Todd Falcone, David Wood, Ray Higdon and his new wife Jessica, Deagon Smith, and I was even up on stage (made a fool of myself) with Tracey Walker and just so many more top leaders.  I focused on staying focused, as I started to chase another shinny nickel and remembered what Todd Falcone said.

We booked 12 rooms for my family cruise in 2013. My cousin James passed on at age 53. Bought both my son and daughter new used cars. I over exceeded my financial goals by 11% that I set for my online home based business to be reached by January 2012.

What did I learn in 2011.

Wow, where do I begin?

• First and foremost, attend events. Events are not made to take your money, they are meant to make you money.
• Connect and network with leaders at the events and make plenty of friends because you never know who the next leader can be.
• Budget time and money.
• Plan, do review.
• Stick primarily to one marketing strategy.
• Be consistent.
• Stay focused to one primary company.
• Attend all training calls.
• Stay connected with everybody you met.
• Invest in yourself, read, listen learn every day.
• Invest in training it pays for itSelf in the end.
• Free marketing is not free.
• This is a business and you must make financial investments to earn financial gain.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Get regular medical checkups, as my cousin died suddenly of pancreatic cancer.
• Learn and sharpen my prospecting skills as mine are terrible as I learned on stage with Tracey Walker.
• Work harder on my online home based business than I did on my J.O.B.

Just the tip..

Of the iceberg. That’s right ladies and gentlemen I’ve just scratched the surface of what I’ve gained, learned and benefited from within this past year, not only for my online home based business but also for myself as an entrepreneur and a gentlemen. And why because I let go of my limiting beliefs that were holding me back from moving ahead. I put trust in those who are leaders in what I want to achieve. You see, I thought that I was in it and maybe I was but just a little part of me. Today I’m in it all the way and because of that I can honestly say that, I’m in to win 100 Percent.

Online Home Based Business Success, Get Prepared.

Here we go, now you’re moving along. So now that you have decided to go full steam ahead with your online home based business. You have done all of the necessary research and found a company to work with and committed.  The fun has just begun.

Remember becoming an online home  business entrepreneur is very rewarding , but I don’t think that I know of anybody that says that it’s easy. Anybody with the right enthusiasm, attitude, discipline and devotion can do it, but it’s not easy. If easy is what you’re looking what I suggest that you go online and find one of those get rich quick systems that you pay $9.97 for and they promise you’ll be rich by next week.

But if you really want to succeed you must prepare yourSelf.

Because this is what this is all about, preparing, planning, and hard work. And hard work doesn’t mean digging a ditch hard, it means long consistent hours doing whatever it takes to achieve your desired  outcome.

So the first thing that you have to prepare is your mindset. You see if you’re like most people who get involved in this business, they think that this is a quick and easy way to make a living. They see all of the so called online home based business Guru’s making a ton of money and right away they think that they are going to do the same overnight or in a month, nope. It just doesn’t happen that way. Because what most people don’t see, is what that Guru had to do and go through to get to where they are today.

Perfect example my friend Ray. He says that 18 months ago his house was in foreclosure,  he was in the worst financial crisis of his life and his wife had to pay the bills. No he’s the top earner for the Network marketing company he’s with. Drives a brand new BMW, lives in a great big beautiful house and he’s earning more money than he ever has. Wow, in just 18 months?

No, that’s where he was 18 months ago. But the thing that everybody doesn’t see it that he’s been in many different Network marketing companies. He’s been doing this for years and by taking consistent positive action towards achieving his goals. And by taking these actions over an extended period of time it all finally all started to come together. So just keep this in mind. Now let’s move onto the next thing you need to prepare.

The work place.

It may seem very unimportant at first but a functional, organized and efficient work area or office is very important to help you focus on revenue producing activities as well as increase your productivity and time management.

Your workstation should be well lit and comfortable with an absolute feeling of freedom and enlightenment. Remember that in this area or room you will be creating, thinking and all of you magic has to be able to flow unrestricted. It should be inspiring along with a positive glow within the whole room.

A good internet connection is paramount, preferably high speed connection. You will also need to set up a dedicated phone line that only you or somebody else that you have trained will answer equipped with a professional voice mail message. Long distance plans for both your landline and cell phone.

Now that you are ready.

Now it’s time for putting all of this preparation to work for your online home based business and start getting customers. Which is going to take some scheduling, planning, budgeting and marketing all of which can be found all throughout my blog or you can just stay tuned for future articles.

Online Home Based Business Success, Commit.

Now that you have decided to become an online home business entrepreneur and you’ve taken all of the necessary steps to make absolutely sure that this is the right kind of business for you. Now it’s time for you to commit.

The first commitment.

Commit to yourself, put pencil to paper and write it out.  Make a contract written by you for you and signed by you. In that contract, write down some goals, and why you want to achieve those goals. Put down the things and circumstances that have motivated you the most into making this decision.

Then read it out loud every day for the next 90 days. You have to let yourSelf know just how badly you want this to succeed. You want to engrain this in your subconscious, because when things get tough and people, places and things just seem to all be against you (and they will) you’re going to have to dig deep to muster up all that you’ve got to keep on going.  You have to convince yourself first before you will be able to convince anybody else.

You want to make copies of your commitment contract. One put away in a safe place as an original that you will be able to change and update as you change and grow in your business. Then you’re going to want to make copies. Then place them in various places where you can be reminded over and over again. However you will want to keep it out of site of any naysayer, because you will run into many of them probably for the rest of your life. But you don’t need it any negativity in your work space. You’re going to run into enough of that on the outside. The contract is mostly for your eyes and maybe for just a select few who you know to have the same mindset.

Commit to those that you trust.

I personally don’t believe in hiding or keeping any secrets from my wife. She is my best friend. She was the first one to know that I wanted to make a career change. And let me tell you something; it was a big change. She does not have the same faith and mindset that I have. So I just made commitment that I’m going to work hard and make things better. Yes, I did inform her that I was going to start a home based business, but I didn’t get into detail ‘s that I was doing internet marketing , network marketing or anything like that, I just kept it simple and the same with my kids and again with just a select few other family members, if any at all.

Commit to the business, sponsor and team.

Well I saved this one for last because it hurts the most. Commitment to the business usually means a financial commitment. I’m going share one of my own experiences.

My first online experience was one that I was attracted to by the shinny nickel in my eye. That nickel was so shinny that it blinded me. Would I say it was worth it?  Yes, it was. Did I make any money? No, I didn’t. Wait no, I did. But that’s not what this article is about. It’s about my level of commitment, and when I signed up for this company, “which isn’t around anymore” I joined at the top level, with 3 levels below that and when I do sign up for anything I always sign up at the top level. And the truth is the first time  I didn’t have the money, I had to borrow it. You see, to me the commitment is more powerful than the money itself. Even though I didn’t have the money. I proved to myself that I was willing to do whatever it takes to make this work. And I failed with that company, but I didn’t fail in the long run. Because here I am, and this is what’s important. Because today I have achieve online home based business success.

And of course you do pay your sponsor,  if you have a good sponsor he or she will sit down with you and have you commit to them right there and then. Your sponsor wants you to succeed. This one is easy, you succeed they succeed.

Next this is a hard one for most people. Most people would rather go to the dentist than do this one; stand up in front of a group of fellow team members or marketers and commit to them, then promise to come back in 3 months and update them on your progress.

The entrepreneurial edge.

The bottom line is that these commitments that you are making are more than just something written down on a piece of paper, or a promise made to a family member, a stranger or strangers and it’s not about the size of your financial investment.

Because none of those things are going to make you succeed. What’s going to make you succeed is “YOU!”  You’re going to need a slight edge to cut through all of the obstacles that starting, owning and operating a home based business will have. And you get that edge by conditioning yourself as an entrepreneur and an individual that is focused and determined to achieve his or her goals. So if you’re just saying to yourself; Oh yeah, I’m committed, I can do this and no matter what I’m going to try to give this my best shot. You’ve already failed because successful entrepreneurs don’t try and think that they can. They do and know they can and absolutely nothing is going to get in their way.

Online Home Based Business Success, Step One Decide.

Okay so you’ve already made the decision to look into having an online home business. So here are a few key points that you should know before you do decide.

Key Points.

1. Don’t just jump at the first shinny nickel that you see. You have to take your time; the keyword over here is business. And just because it’s a home business doesn’t mean that you can treat it like a hobby. You want a hobby? Then I’ve just helped you decide. Forget this and go get a hobby. Unless you just like throwing away your time, money and have nothing better to do. Now if you’re willing and ready to treat, “no let me rephrase that.” WORK” this like a business, now you’re ready to move on.

Do your research. Just like a franchise or a regular store front business. You have to find the right niche or product that suits you. If anybody promises you overnight riches, run in the other direction. Since you are considering an online business then it shouldn’t be difficult to track down other people online that involved in your prospective business and ask them what they think and how they are doing? I would say ask at least 20 people.

1. Time, oh yes time. Get honest with yourself. Just think about this; how many times have you walked up to a store? And just about every time you go to that store there closed. What’s the first thought that comes to mind. How the heck do these people stay in business? And eventually what happens? Out of business!

Even if you decide to do this part time, you better expect to invest at least 20 – 30 hours a week into your business.

So here are a few questions you should ask yourSelf.

• How many hours am I working now and if I’m working too many can I make adjustments?
• Will this have any conflicts with my current job?
• If you’re a big family person. How many hours will this take me away from my family and am I willing to make sacrifices?
• Will my family interfere with my new business? Such as your wife and kids walking in and out of your work area for every little reason. You will need to stay focused.
• What other activities am I willing to sacrifice in order to make this work?  Such as T.V. (The automatic income reducer), sports, time with friends and family.

1. Money, that’s right money. Let me make something perfectly clear and one more time, this is a business and running a business cost money. So if somebody or company tells you that you will be making a onetime investment of such and such an amount, here we go again “RUN!” That’s a lie.

Here are some of the costs involved in running an online home business. This is minimizing it by assuming that you’re doing some kind of affiliate marketing or internet marketing. So you have no physical products to purchase.

• Working Online? Need a good, reliable and fast internet connection.
• Need to keep your computers up to date and in good condition.
• Start up cost and usually monthly company cost.
• Training and training products. Books, DVD’s and audios.
• Personal training, mentorship and coaching.
• Marketing, there is no free marketing. Free marketing is not free.
• Travel and attending events. “Very Important!”

Here it is ladies and gentlemen. I could have gone into more specific detail about each key point and every single bullet point. And this list could have been at least 10 times longer. But the truth of the matter is that you will be doing this for you. This is not a job where you will be working for somebody else making them rich, so that you can earn a salary. You will be working for “YOU INC.” And you will be working for your future and the future of your loved ones, you won’t be working for a salary but you will be working to create your fortune.

So if you choose either Network marketing, Multi Level marketing, Internet marketing or any other kind of home business you will have to decide and making the right decisions, committing, planning and staying focused on the prize. You will be well on your way to online home based business success.  Network Marketing Multilevel Marketing Internet Marketing Online Home Business Success and Faith, What a Combination for Success

Looking back.

In one of my prior article post titled; “Online business and network marketing success, don’t jump.”  The key message being; don’t jump! I started to put some more thought behind what I wrote. And that thought came about as I was delivering a message of faith to an audience of listeners at a local hall. I love to share that not too long ago I had absolutely no faith. Oh no, let me reword that. The only faith that I had was in something that I can see it right in front of my face. So if you honestly couldn’t show it to me, it’s just could not be. Make sense?

Then a series of events took place and I decided to, no again let me reword that. I was forced by circumstance to place a little faith into some other people.  People that I did not know, total strangers. But they had something that I wanted and I was willing to do anything to get it.

Now before I go any further, please don’t misunderstand my message before I finish here. I don’t want you to think that, I’m trying to push anybody into religion nor am I trying to push them away. My message here is of faith not religion.

Now back to mySelf and the people that I had to put my faith into. They told me to pray or their exact words were; put it out there kid. And even though I was full of doubt, I did. They told me to believe in things and to have faith that as long as I was doing the right thing, followed with positive thought and action. Everything would fall in place and things will get better. Again with a mountain of doubt and a grain of faith, I did what they suggested for me to do.

And guess what happened? Things started to get better, miraculous events started to happen and to my amazement eventually my life that was falling apart all came together and today all of those challenges are gone. However today I have new ones and that’s okay because I have one thing today that I didn’t have way back then, and that is faith.  I call it crazy faith, because most of the people that don’t believe as I do think that I’m nutz and that’s most people.

Leap and the net will appear.

Now back to the article that I wrote; Don’t jump. I want you to know that I do jump, or leap when it comes to faith. I am a leaper. I do believe in blind faith. Remember it says “Leap” and the net will appear. Not, go to the ledge then look down to see if it’s safe and then leap. It says “Leap.”

So what does faith have to do with your online home business and network marketing? Everything, I don’t care if you own a tire shop, or walk dogs for a living. Faith is something that we all need in all the different phases of our life. But in business, I feel that it is very important especially as an entrepreneur. You see I looked up the definition of entrepreneur, it says; a person who starts a business knowing that there is some risk involved. In other words and entrepreneur is a leaper. And as a leaper you need that faith because it’s that faith that weaves that net together before and after we leaped. Faith is instrumental to an entrepreneur’s success.

A BIG why.

It’s not easy, everything can just go against you. And most of the time it does, in the network marketing, multi level marketing and online home based business field especially. And here are a few key points why.

• The learning curve. Even the pros need to learn so when you’re new to it, it’s even more of a challenge. Most of the time when we’re learning we’re not making any money.
• The nay-sayers. These are the people with no faith and if they do have faith it’s in the traditional 9 to 5 J.O.B. And most of the time the people closest to us, parents, wife, friends and co-workers.
• The pressures of life. You know it works, but everything is going against you, every penny you earn goes back into the business. The bills come up, the spouse is complaining, your mother is telling you that you had such a good job at the supermarket. And doubt starts to settle in, you start to wonder; does all of this stuff really work? And there goes your faith, your business and all of the time and money that you invested. Why? No Faith!

Winners are people of great faith.

You have to keep your head up when things are down. The hard times are just part of it. Yes it’s easier for some then others but the one thing that they all have in common is that they never quit and they never quit because they had absolute faith in what they were doing. So do as the winners do, it’s not about thinking that it can be done, it’s about knowing. Be strong, have faith and you to, will become a winner.

 Online Home Business and Network Marketing Success – 4 Key habits.

Read, Listen, Learn and Attend.

When people first begin their new network marketing, multi level marketing, internet marketing or online home business the first thing on their mind is making money. And unfortunately this is exactly what attracted then into these types of businesses. They see a top earning leader from their company earning 6 and 7 figure incomes and the first thing that enters their mind is; wow how do I earn that kind of money? Then they go into the company website back office, of through the training guides in their quick start guides and go right to work. Then 6 months down the line they see that they haven’t recruited a single prospect.

The reason being is that the only thing that they heard when that top earning leader gave his or her speech was that they now earn a 6 or 7 figure income. What they didn’t hear or it might not have been mentioned at all.  Was what that leader did personally to get up to that level of success in their business and life.

So that’s exactly what this article is about. Now, I can’t give it all to you today, as I am sure that you would need a library of information to educate you with proper skills, habits, disciplines, strategies and tactics put into practice by such top earning leaders. However this is why this first key is so crucial to your success and that’s why the first key is to read.

1)    Leaders are readers.

And readers do become leaders. It’s just that simple; there is absolutely no better way to master your profession than read about it 30 minutes a day. Especially in today’s technological world and the introduction of the internet we must read in order to keep up with the fast moving and changing times. When you read what leaders read and write themselves you are following and duplicating their success.

2)    Listen.

Fill your mind with educational, positive and empowering audio. Daily audio training is absolutely transformative. The thing is that most people don’t believe that they have the time to listen to audio training because of the busy lives that they lead. Nevertheless if you are creative enough you will find plenty of time. While driving, jogging, walking or doing basic chores around the house. Put your mind to it and you will find the time.

3)    Write.

Write about what you just read about. Write about what you just learned. It’s the best way to anchor something into your mind. Get creative write about everything. When you write about everything you will also learn about everything.

4)    Attend.

Be active in and attend as many business events as possible. This is where it all comes together. The personal interaction with leaders and teachers will empower you to move into the next level of your personal and business success. There is something that solidifies in your mind what is happening and you begin to understand things like never before. Just remember that leaders and guest speakers all were in the audience at one time or another, just like you. So attending business events on a regular basis is exceptionally instrumental to your entrepreneurial success.

Now as I mentioned earlier the information delivered to you is just the tip of the iceberg of information that can and should be obtained by you. However these are monumental steps in the right direction.

So consistently implement these 4 key habits into your daily business routine and before you know it, (Most probably sooner than later) you will be the one up on that stage sharing your story of success and how you now earn a 7 figure income.

Jim Rohn-It’s Possible- Work Harder On Yourself Than You Do On Your Job. 

First things first, this is something that I love to make perfectly clear. Just as I do in my videos and in all of my other articles. Everything I share with my readers comes from my life experiences and most importantly my message’s come from my heart. Especially this topic, so please stick around because what I have to offer you today is real near and dear to me, as I am absolutely sure that this will also  benefit you as it has me.

Now when most people hear the quote “Work Harder On Yourself than You Do On Your Business.” They think of the Great Jim Rohn. And yes, I do listen to Jim Rohn regularly and I have heard that very same quote many times, as a matter of a fact, Jim’s exact quote is; Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.

Nevertheless, when I first heard it, the person I heard it from was not Jim Rohn, it was my friend and mentor Reiki Pete. And the words were completely different, but the message was the same. Pete’s words to me were Joseph, Joseph, Joseph Keep the focus on “Yourself” and watch how everything else gets better. My first thought was; This Guy Is NUTZ!

My life at this time was a catastrophe, my wife wasn’t well, plus she wanted NOTHING to do with me, I had some very disturbing legal issues going on, I was unemployed and I was about to lose my house and my poor kids were in the middle of this big mess. How the heck was keeping the focus on myself, going to make things better?

Now here’s the miracle.

Out of desperation, a little hope and an inkling of faith, I decided to keep an open mind and do what was suggested. I was told to take an honest look at myself, and clean house. Start righting my wrongs. Get rid of all of my resentments and handle my challenges with love, tolerance and understanding.

Another very powerful quote came from another mentor and friend. This guy is a retired older gentleman, (Richie, B) who decided to open up a painting business at the age of 65. On the side of this work truck, he didn’t have business lettering, all it said was; Change Your thinking and Chance your world.  Rich always keep a stack of James Allens Book, As A Man Thinketh, in his vehicles. He’s been handing them out for over 20 years. And of course I read it, again and again and again. So I did change my thinking and my world changed for the better.

The Big Pay Off,

You see, I was able to get into one of the most rewarding relationship of my life. I got into a relationship with mySelf, yes me. I learned how to love myself first. And it’s funny because today, the more I work on myself the better things get, and I mean, everything!

My relationships, Health, finances, social standing in my community and the communication with my higher power has all improved 100% because of me working on myself first before anything else including my online home based business.

So here it is. Is it easy? No! But then again, anything worth wild is never easy; however it gets easier with time. Is it worth it? Definitely!

Here’s the thing. It’s a life long journey; well at least I think it is. It also seems like it’s something that I tend to do all day every day. It tends to make life much easier and better, not only for me but everybody else that I come in contact with. So I’m not the only one that benefits from my actions.

Now as far as your concerned. I wouldn’t listen to me, who the heck am I? Listen to the greats, like Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins and Les Brown just to mention a few. To tell you the truth, I never heard of these guys until I started on this great journey. So if you’re looking for a place to begin. Look up those guys I just mentioned, read their books, listen to the audios and study, discover, love and most of all, have fun with you. You won’t call it work, you’ll call it, a pleasure.

It’s very simple!

That’s right, if you don’t absolutely love your product and your 100% sure that what you are selling really works, find something else. There are so many other Multilevel / Network marketing companies with products out there that you yourself will be extremely thrilled about. The reason that I stress the importance of this is the fact that you won’t succeed in convincing others that they should try something that you don’t believe in, like  or trust yourself.

Be truthful to yourSelf.

Look if you’re not passionate, enthusiastic and confidant about what your selling or promoting, your just NOT going to be able to sell it or the company. You have to use the product and become a walking bulletin board of whatever it is that you’re promoting. How will you convince others if you’re not convinced that it is the absolute best, yourself?

Don’t join the NFL. (No Friends Left)

I’m 100 % sure, that if you’re selling something that you don’t like, your friends won’t like it. And if your friends don’t like it and you sold it to them, it won’t be long until you have joined the NFL club. (No Friends Left)

Then now all of a sudden, you do find something that you know and are absolutely convinced that this one is a wonderful product. So now you contact all of those friends again, and guess what? That’s right, nobody wants to hear anything about it. On top of that, they want nothing to do with “YOU”.  Because people always seem to forget the good but never forget the bad.

However, if you do believe in a product,  the company  and you are 100% confident . Your friends will follow you forever, no matter where you go. Along with the people they themselves recruited. This will create massive success for you.

Let the truth inspire you.

Have you ever had an disagreement with somebody and you just wouldn’t give it up because you were absolutely sure that you were 100% right? No matter what this person or people say, they just couldn’t convince you any other way. You were sure, that what you are saying is TRUE. BINGO, that’s it. With conviction and confidence this is what you want. You will protect this product and company to the end. When people hear this and see how passionate you are, now you will start to see results and now you won’t have to chase people down, they will be attracted you and ask; what is it that you are so energized about? This is what you want, let the product / company to sell itself. Then and only then will they want to take it to the next level and become part of your organization.

Do your homework it’s easy.

It’s easy, so do it. Because of its ease many people tend to over look this. Investigate your product, make sure that it does what is promised and the same goes for the company. Make sure that the company that you are involved in also does what it says because they come as a package deal. One will not work without the other and if they don’t work, neither will you and your business. So don’t just jump in without looking and doing the proper research first.

So here you go 3 key things you should look at.

1. The product and its ability to deliver what it promises.
2. The company and its ability to stand behind it product and its promises to you.
3. “Most importantly” YOU! Look at you and how you feel deep down inside about the product.

Now that you have done your homework and feel confident that the company, the product and you are all in sync. You have just made it much easier to go out there and do whatever it is that you have to do to achieve your goals. Because now you love what you do and whatever it is that you do, will love you right back and offer spectacular rewards, not only to you but everyone else in your organization.

Sitting at home on day, I was board tired of watching the same old stuff on the television and if they did have something new on TV it was of no interest to me. I wanted to have something else to do with myself. My knee was hurting and it was raining out. I remember thinking to myself I wish I had a hobby.

I also remembered that last week, I had mentioned to my pregnant daughter that was on bed rest. That maybe she should get a hobby find something to do with herself, while she was home. She says; I do daddy, I talk to all of my friends on Facebook. We share pictures gossip and talk to each other about what’s going on in our lives, it’s a lot of fun. Of course as a dad I come out with the ole; you should be doing something more productive, other than gossiping with your friends. And let it go at that. Having a flash back, of my wife being seven months pregnant. So I walked away from this one while I was safe.

I have always loved to journal so I decided to do that for a while, when I was finish putting my entry in for that week I looked over on my desk and noticed my camera with a whole load of pictures that needed to be loaded into my computer.

That was when it hit me; I wish I could write a journal about all of these pictures. Kind of like a scrapbook. But I just didn’t want to have the hassle of printing out the pictures, than having to go out to get a book, colored paper and glue. Right away my mind went to “Glue” that sounded a little messy. Now while uploading my pictures I notice a little tab on the page that said “Scrapbook” So I looked at that.

Now I’m determined, I am going to find something to do with mySelf. So I start off by surfing the web. Almost every topic I found was on these blogs. The blogs all had pictures and many different topics. Now I’m thinking to myself; these things must take a lot of work and money. Nevertheless I looked it up anyway. Guess what? I was wrong; I found out that a blog “Web-log” is just like an online journal.

The good thing about creating a blog was that I had an option to make it private or public. I started off with the private one and now I found my hobby.

Now as look further into this blogging stuff I find out that you can make money doing this. People are out there making a living, a very good living doing this stuff, that I now have as a hobby. This turned out to be true very true.

The strange part is that I don’t really know how to write. I never even finished the ninth grade. I just enjoy it. Plus who cares? You don’t like it; don’t read it! But millions of people do, who would have known?

I am now making money, having fun and doing what I love. All from sitting home with nothing better to do.
