 Who You Associate with is an Important factor in being a Successful Online Entrepreneur.

 Recently wrote an article on all if the 8 habits of successful entrepreneurs. But here’s the thing I broke down each individual habit and still had a feeling that I could have said so much more. Even though I wrote an article with close to 1600 words, I feel like I could have done more. And my promise to you and myself is to always do my best to give you the best. So here we go.

A Little boy In The Bronx.

This one hit’s home. As a young man being born and raised in the ghetto’s of the Bronx, New York City. My selection of friends just weren’t the greatest. It’s not that it was a bad childhood but my circle of friends just weren’t the greatest, but they were my friends. And as most kids that are raised in the bigger cities, we all played and had our fun in the streets. My parents didn’t seem to be very selective with their friends. So picking and choosing who you associate with wisely wasn’t something that was taught to me at an early age, if they tried teaching it to me in school, I wouldn’t know because I was too busy hanging out with my friends as we all cut class. Needless to say, I never finished high school, had a few unpleasant run ins with the law and had a major challenge with alcoholism. And wouldn’t you know it, many of those friends are not doing much better. Actually, most of them are dead or in jail today. Why not me?

Who you associate with. New Friends.

I had so much ugly in my life, I just knew that something was wrong, even thought I was part of the dysfunction I was able to clearly see what I didn’t want. As I grew older the games that my friends were playing, weren’t just innocent children’s games. These games weren’t games they were activities and people got hurt. I wanted nothing to do with it. So I decided to go back to school and I learned a trade. I became an auto mechanic, and that worked for a few years. I was in my early stages of my alcoholism and it was noticeable. I lost, no I threw away that career.

But something happened, my uncle Richie needed my help, he lived in Long Island, New York. I went out to help him, and I fell in love with a beautiful young lady. This young lady and I got married and I was surrounded by a whole bunch of different people. I started studying and eventually teaching martial arts. One of my private students bartered with me, a set of Tony Robbins cassette tapes for self defense classes. And that’s where personal improvement started to become a major part of my life. I learned that it is important to pick and choose who you associate with. I also learned to take an honest look at mySelf and to evaluate my life and look at what direction it was taking. Allowing me to realize that I did, have a problem with alcohol and that if I wanted a better quality of life I would have to learn how to do without it, and I have.

Looking back I can see that, my life got better, as I started associating with people whose quality of life was better.  And now it’s getting massively better. Why I know, that who you associate with will have a definite impact on your life.

Who you associate with and Online Business.

So what does all of this have to do with your online business? Successful online entrepreneurs know this. They know that if they want to learn social marketing, they have to associate with the top internet social marketers. Top income earners associate with other top income earners, it’s just that simple. They know the importance of; who you associate with. They know that; Your Net worth is directly related to your network. And so should you.

8 Habits of a Successful Online Entrepreneur. Breakdown. #1 Work..

Quick Note.

I just wrote an article on all if the 8 habits of a successful online entrepreneur. But here’s the thing I broke down each individual habit and still had a feeling that I could have said more. 1^st habit of a successful online entrepreneur: Work

As mentioned before; this on kills me. Everybody wants to be a successful online entrepreneur. But nobody wants to work. And this is why so many people get robbed online. Because the scammers know this, they know that people want to get as much as they can for as little work as possible. It’s a shame.

Now I want to make it perfectly clear, to be able to work is a privilege. Just think about all of the people who want to work and can’t for so many various reasons.  Just think about it, what about people of an older age? Many of them have to work and they can’t. Even if they wanted a simple desk job they couldn’t do it for many different reasons.

The Working Mindset of a Successful Online Entrepreneur.

Life is work, and those who don’t work at life don’t really get a chance to live life to the fullest. Everything in life that’s worthwhile will take a certain amount of work to obtain, improve and to keep. All successful entrepreneurs think this way, they enjoy work, they look forward to work and a day without work is incomplete. A successful entrepreneur doesn’t consider work to be chore or a burden and has no problem putting in a 14 hour work day. As a successful entrepreneur looks at his or her work as an asset it is something to build on and make better every day. And with this mindset everyday is a positive day in one way, shape or form.

Working on things other than business.

A successful online entrepreneur doesn’t only works hard on business matters. They work hard on everything. They have the discipline to apply the same work ethics used in business towards all the other phases of life.

Health and physical fitness a success online entrepreneur also realizes the importance of a healthy and well balanced diet and is aware the watching what he or she eats will also require a certain amount of work. As well as a strict routine of daily exercise knowing that these habits will only enhance peak performance and productivity.

A successful online entrepreneur knows that the friends that they keep and the relationships that they make are also a very important part of the direction that their life is heading because it takes hard work to have a constant vigilance of the people that they are surrounded by. Knowing that some people can help you move ahead in life and other will only hold you back.

Also knowing the relationships that they have at home and with family are also very important and should always work toward maintaining peace love and happiness at home as well as working towards having harmony within him or herSelf knowing that when everything is good within the enemies from the outside will do them no harm.

The 8 habits Of Successful Online Home Business Entrepreneurs.

Wow, that’s a nasty word on the internet. Copied content or material is a very unaccepted habit and it can get you in a heap of trouble. However when it comes to habits and positive behaviors it’s not a bad thing not a bad thing at all. Any many people can argue the point that they don’t want to be like anybody else, but the truth is that you can develop a good trait and do it with your very own unique qualities that are you. online home business success

These 8 habits were personal revealed to me by a leader in the online home business industry and they were revealed to her by another leader and I’m sure that they were handed down to him. Well now It’s my turn to hand them down to you. So let’s get started.

WAIT! Hold on there. I almost forgot a couple of things.

1^st I want you to know that when these habits were exposed to me I only wrote the one key or main word the rest that follows is my very own personal description and opinion of what it means to me.

2^nd No these habits are not only habits that apply to online home business. You can apply these habits to anything in your life.  Okay now we can get started.

Online Home Business Success habit #1

Work: This is a funny one; so many people want success so that they don’t have to work. Well I have news for you, Warren Buffett works, Mark Zuckerberg works, Steve Jobs worked to the end. So if you plan to be successful at anything in your life, you’d better expect to work on it, be it heath, relationships or business. You get out of it, what you put into it and that what is work. I work every day of my life and I love it. Why?

Here’s the trick: Find something that you love to do. Because when you love what you do you won’t ever work another day in your life.

Online Home Business Success habit #2

Share: This one I hear comes from the Bible says another of the many great leaders that I copy. Jim Rohn; Learn to serve the many, for service to many leads to greatness.

One thing I have learned in life is that the more that I give the more that I get. It’s a strange concept, because most people just don’t think that way. And when you think about; this is mine, I worked hard for it why should I just give it away. Makes good sense. However it doesn’t work that way. If you want love, you have to give love. Just think about all of the broken relationships. What happened? When they first met they were madly in love. And over time that love that they were giving each other wears out. Now they start to say to each other; you don’t love me anymore. Because now instead of giving love freely and unconditionally. They want it first and then they say that they will give it back. Well it doesn’t work that way. Take it from a person that has happily been married for 25 years. You have to give, in order to get.

Online Home Business Success habit #3

 Manage: Your time, your money, your affairs, manage everything. Or in other words keep an eye on your stuff. This one is so easy but most people don’t do it. You want to know why? Because, everything is already out of control. Now it’s going to take some work to get things in order and then keep things in order. And just as I mentioned earlier. Most people don’t want to work. It’s easy to just let things go. But then at the end, it’s not.

Successful people manage and keep a close eye on everything. Everything is all a part of a major plan and when you stick to that managed plan, everything just seems to work out. And if it doesn’t I’m sure that they saw it coming, and that they have a backup plan.

Online Home Business Success habit # 4

Invest: Oh no here it comes; this guy is going to try to sell me something. Here another funny one. Most people want to have an online home business. But it seems like they want it for free. Let me give you a little bit of news; it’s A Business! Businesses cost money and they will require some financial investments.

Now not only will you have to invest in the business you will also need to invest in yourSelf. This comes in the form of education, personal improvement plus you should also be in good physical conditions to produce peak performance.

Online Home Business Success habit # 5

Coachable: First you have to become coachable, and then you must remain coachable. This is a tricky one for many folks, especially if you’ve had some success in another field or industry. Because when you know it all, you know it all. Since you know it all your going to attempt, let me say that again a little more boldly, you going to “Attempt.” to do everything your way and then when you have tried and failed a couple of times, you’re going to do one of two things. First being the choice most people take is; quit and leave with a bad taste in your mouth, saying things like; those online home businesses don’t work, those things are just scams and don’t waste your time or money, I tried one of those things and I never made a dime.

You will need an open mind in this business, you will need to be open to coaching and taking suggestion, trying things somebody else’s way and always keep that open mind as this is the internet and things are always changing. So you better expect to do the same.

Online Home Business Success habit # 6

Association: My favorite quote that relates with this habit is; If you hang out with dogs, you’d better expect to get fleas. So the truth is that people rub off on one another. Just think about it. Have you ever seen a picture of a couple and their dog and all three of them look alike. It’s true. Plus I know this because I have lived it. I’ve been in bad places and I’ve been in good. And when I hung out in these bad places, I was not the most positive that person and my life just wasn’t too good.

Today the quality of people that I associate with is completely different. I stick with the winners and lose the losers and unfortunately I’ve had to disconnect from some old time relationships. Because they were just holding me back. And the direction of a successful entrepreneur is always forward.

That’s you getting together with other like minded people / entrepreneurs on a regular basis, laying it all down on the table putting your minds together to come up with various ideas and solutions. It is by far one of the most powerful habits that you should implement into your online business routine.

Become a Hunter: You need to hunt down your success. If you have never been the type of person to go above and beyond the call of duty, well you better start now. Success does not come to you. You have to seek it down and make it happen.  All of these success habit are the bait, the pray is your success. If you want to become a successful internet marketing  entrepreneur you will need to work hard, share what you learn, manage, plan and set goals, Invest wisely, be willing to learn and be coachable, associate with the right people then get together with them in a mastermind group, and hunt down your success like you haven’t eaten in 12 days and these habit will be your 8 course meal.

The Best Year for My Online Home Based Business. What an Extraordinary Year.

Wow what a year.

2011 was the year that I expected it to be for my online home based business and so will 2012. What was different then in the previous years? I will attribute one big key factor that has made 2011 such a wonderful year.

Attending live events.

That was it. Attending 3 events last year. You know I always thought that going to these events were all just a bunch of hype. That they were just a way for other people and companies to make more money from me. And you know what I found out? That I was 100% right. These people are looking to make a ton of money from me, you or us. But here’s the thing, they don’t make it from the events, they make it from us and our successes. So if we make money they make money, when we succeed they succeed, we look good and become leaders guess what in it for them.

Reflecting on the past year.

Number 1. It was the year that I was able to take off my tool belt and stop commuting into Manhattan every single day making a commitment to my online home based business. I joined my primary system / business Pro Elite and attended my first event in Baltimore, Maryland.  I personally met and connected with Jerry Clark, Jeffery Combs and Cedrick Harris.I started making videos today I have over 1000 videos in my files. I was shut down by Youtube or Google slapped. As you is now owned by Google. My wife Jessica and I enjoyed out grandchildren’s first birthdays, we were able to host my grandson’s birthday in our house and we had a wonderful summer, the best summer ever in our home of 13 years.

I attended my second event in Phoenix, Arizona.I met and personally connected with Jay kubassek, the whole Loyal 9 Revolution team, Aaron and Spohia Rashkin, Andrew Cass, Michael Force just to mention a few leaders from Pro Elite. I started to focus on planning and time management, blogging and article marketing. I joined Toast masters.

Attended my third event, with my wife this time in Orlando Florida, both my wife and I went to Disney and Universal studios for the first time, we liked it so much we purchased some property in Orlando.I met and personally connected with Norbert Orlewicz, Brian Fanale, Todd Schlomer, Todd Falcone, David Wood, Ray Higdon and his new wife Jessica, Deagon Smith, and I was even up on stage (made a fool of myself) with Tracey Walker and just so many more top leaders.  I focused on staying focused, as I started to chase another shinny nickel and remembered what Todd Falcone said.

We booked 12 rooms for my family cruise in 2013. My cousin James passed on at age 53. Bought both my son and daughter new used cars. I over exceeded my financial goals by 11% that I set for my online home based business to be reached by January 2012.

What did I learn in 2011.

Wow, where do I begin?

• First and foremost, attend events. Events are not made to take your money, they are meant to make you money.
• Connect and network with leaders at the events and make plenty of friends because you never know who the next leader can be.
• Budget time and money.
• Plan, do review.
• Stick primarily to one marketing strategy.
• Be consistent.
• Stay focused to one primary company.
• Attend all training calls.
• Stay connected with everybody you met.
• Invest in yourself, read, listen learn every day.
• Invest in training it pays for itSelf in the end.
• Free marketing is not free.
• This is a business and you must make financial investments to earn financial gain.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Get regular medical checkups, as my cousin died suddenly of pancreatic cancer.
• Learn and sharpen my prospecting skills as mine are terrible as I learned on stage with Tracey Walker.
• Work harder on my online home based business than I did on my J.O.B.

Just the tip..

Of the iceberg. That’s right ladies and gentlemen I’ve just scratched the surface of what I’ve gained, learned and benefited from within this past year, not only for my online home based business but also for myself as an entrepreneur and a gentlemen. And why because I let go of my limiting beliefs that were holding me back from moving ahead. I put trust in those who are leaders in what I want to achieve. You see, I thought that I was in it and maybe I was but just a little part of me. Today I’m in it all the way and because of that I can honestly say that, I’m in to win 100 Percent.

Online Home Based Business Success, Get Prepared.

Here we go, now you’re moving along. So now that you have decided to go full steam ahead with your online home based business. You have done all of the necessary research and found a company to work with and committed.  The fun has just begun.

Remember becoming an online home  business entrepreneur is very rewarding , but I don’t think that I know of anybody that says that it’s easy. Anybody with the right enthusiasm, attitude, discipline and devotion can do it, but it’s not easy. If easy is what you’re looking what I suggest that you go online and find one of those get rich quick systems that you pay $9.97 for and they promise you’ll be rich by next week.

But if you really want to succeed you must prepare yourSelf.

Because this is what this is all about, preparing, planning, and hard work. And hard work doesn’t mean digging a ditch hard, it means long consistent hours doing whatever it takes to achieve your desired  outcome.

So the first thing that you have to prepare is your mindset. You see if you’re like most people who get involved in this business, they think that this is a quick and easy way to make a living. They see all of the so called online home based business Guru’s making a ton of money and right away they think that they are going to do the same overnight or in a month, nope. It just doesn’t happen that way. Because what most people don’t see, is what that Guru had to do and go through to get to where they are today.

Perfect example my friend Ray. He says that 18 months ago his house was in foreclosure,  he was in the worst financial crisis of his life and his wife had to pay the bills. No he’s the top earner for the Network marketing company he’s with. Drives a brand new BMW, lives in a great big beautiful house and he’s earning more money than he ever has. Wow, in just 18 months?

No, that’s where he was 18 months ago. But the thing that everybody doesn’t see it that he’s been in many different Network marketing companies. He’s been doing this for years and by taking consistent positive action towards achieving his goals. And by taking these actions over an extended period of time it all finally all started to come together. So just keep this in mind. Now let’s move onto the next thing you need to prepare.

The work place.

It may seem very unimportant at first but a functional, organized and efficient work area or office is very important to help you focus on revenue producing activities as well as increase your productivity and time management.

Your workstation should be well lit and comfortable with an absolute feeling of freedom and enlightenment. Remember that in this area or room you will be creating, thinking and all of you magic has to be able to flow unrestricted. It should be inspiring along with a positive glow within the whole room.

A good internet connection is paramount, preferably high speed connection. You will also need to set up a dedicated phone line that only you or somebody else that you have trained will answer equipped with a professional voice mail message. Long distance plans for both your landline and cell phone.

Now that you are ready.

Now it’s time for putting all of this preparation to work for your online home based business and start getting customers. Which is going to take some scheduling, planning, budgeting and marketing all of which can be found all throughout my blog or you can just stay tuned for future articles.

Online Home Based Business Success, Commit.

Now that you have decided to become an online home business entrepreneur and you’ve taken all of the necessary steps to make absolutely sure that this is the right kind of business for you. Now it’s time for you to commit.

The first commitment.

Commit to yourself, put pencil to paper and write it out.  Make a contract written by you for you and signed by you. In that contract, write down some goals, and why you want to achieve those goals. Put down the things and circumstances that have motivated you the most into making this decision.

Then read it out loud every day for the next 90 days. You have to let yourSelf know just how badly you want this to succeed. You want to engrain this in your subconscious, because when things get tough and people, places and things just seem to all be against you (and they will) you’re going to have to dig deep to muster up all that you’ve got to keep on going.  You have to convince yourself first before you will be able to convince anybody else.

You want to make copies of your commitment contract. One put away in a safe place as an original that you will be able to change and update as you change and grow in your business. Then you’re going to want to make copies. Then place them in various places where you can be reminded over and over again. However you will want to keep it out of site of any naysayer, because you will run into many of them probably for the rest of your life. But you don’t need it any negativity in your work space. You’re going to run into enough of that on the outside. The contract is mostly for your eyes and maybe for just a select few who you know to have the same mindset.

Commit to those that you trust.

I personally don’t believe in hiding or keeping any secrets from my wife. She is my best friend. She was the first one to know that I wanted to make a career change. And let me tell you something; it was a big change. She does not have the same faith and mindset that I have. So I just made commitment that I’m going to work hard and make things better. Yes, I did inform her that I was going to start a home based business, but I didn’t get into detail ‘s that I was doing internet marketing , network marketing or anything like that, I just kept it simple and the same with my kids and again with just a select few other family members, if any at all.

Commit to the business, sponsor and team.

Well I saved this one for last because it hurts the most. Commitment to the business usually means a financial commitment. I’m going share one of my own experiences.

My first online experience was one that I was attracted to by the shinny nickel in my eye. That nickel was so shinny that it blinded me. Would I say it was worth it?  Yes, it was. Did I make any money? No, I didn’t. Wait no, I did. But that’s not what this article is about. It’s about my level of commitment, and when I signed up for this company, “which isn’t around anymore” I joined at the top level, with 3 levels below that and when I do sign up for anything I always sign up at the top level. And the truth is the first time  I didn’t have the money, I had to borrow it. You see, to me the commitment is more powerful than the money itself. Even though I didn’t have the money. I proved to myself that I was willing to do whatever it takes to make this work. And I failed with that company, but I didn’t fail in the long run. Because here I am, and this is what’s important. Because today I have achieve online home based business success.

And of course you do pay your sponsor,  if you have a good sponsor he or she will sit down with you and have you commit to them right there and then. Your sponsor wants you to succeed. This one is easy, you succeed they succeed.

Next this is a hard one for most people. Most people would rather go to the dentist than do this one; stand up in front of a group of fellow team members or marketers and commit to them, then promise to come back in 3 months and update them on your progress.

The entrepreneurial edge.

The bottom line is that these commitments that you are making are more than just something written down on a piece of paper, or a promise made to a family member, a stranger or strangers and it’s not about the size of your financial investment.

Because none of those things are going to make you succeed. What’s going to make you succeed is “YOU!”  You’re going to need a slight edge to cut through all of the obstacles that starting, owning and operating a home based business will have. And you get that edge by conditioning yourself as an entrepreneur and an individual that is focused and determined to achieve his or her goals. So if you’re just saying to yourself; Oh yeah, I’m committed, I can do this and no matter what I’m going to try to give this my best shot. You’ve already failed because successful entrepreneurs don’t try and think that they can. They do and know they can and absolutely nothing is going to get in their way.
