Go-Giver’s 1st Law – The Law Of Value
The Law of Value is the 1st law of Stratospheric Success from the inspiring book, The Go-Giver. This modern day business parable cites five laws, which we will be reviewing individually. Let us take on the first law. The Law of Value states, “Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value that you take in payment.” Giving is the fore bearing factor to that amount of value provided with the relation to the amount received in payment. However, true value of giving is providing value without expecting or measuring something rather anything in return. How does this relate to online home business opportunity?
Many marketing list promise value in the form of knowledge, instead they pound you with sales pitches on purchasing or joining their business. This bait concept has been around for quite a long time now. Sure, it does give multitude sales, but is it a good practice? The strategy does get the attention of potential customers, but does it build relationship? Think about marketing online home business by providing value to develop relationships. This way your potentials will stay with you until they are ready to avail of what you have to offer. The Law of Value is working in giving your customers desire to be enriched and the appreciativeness of having to do business with you. On the other hand your reward is that you were able to provide them something of value that no other product or service could provide, a value that is genuine to you that you want to share with your customers.
The Law of Value declares that true worth is that value you provided besides from what you are paid for. If everyone else gives their Self for a day’s work, but you gave more, doesn’t that make you more valuable? However, if you’re giving more to expect something in return, for instance, to be ahead or get attention, then you’re giving for the wrong reasons. The Law of Value teaches us to give because it is the right thing to do and not giving more just to be noticed. The challenge is for you to exceed an individual’s expectation but keeping a mum about it. Give – just because. Give even if no one notices, it is how you feel in giving that is important, rather than making it as a basis of success by others, make it your own success.
In the book, it is told that “All the great fortunes in the world have been created by men and women who had greater passion for what they were giving – their product, service or idea – than what they were getting”. The Law of Value can make you successful in business if you go beyond everyone’s expectation. Find out what your customers place high values on, it doesn’t have to be elaborate, confusing or expensive. Don’t be afraid to give something valuable such as a simple gesture, a listening ear, a pinch of knowledge, a solution to their problem. You might think this is not overwhelming but to them it will create a lasting impression. When we give put welfare first in mind, consider with respect to worth, excellence, usefulness or importance. The Law of Value tells us that as long as you are living your passion in what you are giving, what you are emitting from the inside will determine what is attracted to you. In order to attract good things in your life, you need to be feeling good most of the time. Practice The Law of Value and reap its astounding benefits.
